Inventor model states BOM

I have created a large top level assy using model states for some parts from the top level down to the fabricated part.

Now that I am looking at the parts list for the drawings I have an issue.

The parts/ assys that are non model sate show on the BOM as 0 qty when supressed (which is what I want, I know you can hide these with the BOM settings)

The problem I have is the parts/ assys that are model sates do not show on the BOM when supressed. Is there a way to get the suppressed model states to show on the BOM as 0 qty?

I thought I had a work round but because the BOMs are not independent for each model state I can't make it work.

This is a 2023 enhancement, if you are still using 2022 you can only see QTY=0
