Inventor .IDW with Linked Excel FIle Question

I link an excel spreadsheet of text into my .idw files and I constantly have this issue where the text is crowded (see attached).  I've tried changing the font, etc. but nothing seems to help.  Every once in a while if I move the linked sheet within the .idw it corrects itself.  Any idea why this happens or how I can get around this?

I'm using Inventor 2012.

  • Can you please try the procedure below and let me know whether it helps or not.

  • Go to the Annotate TAB > Table Panel > select the General table feature.

  • In the Table dialogue, select the Browse button and find the Spreadsheet you wish to insert on the drawing. Once the Spreadsheet has been selected the Data Start Cell and Column Header Row will be populated respectfully.

  • Now hit OK, and position accordingly on the drawing. Column widths can be adjusted to suit the width of text in the Spreadsheet once placed.
