This is all i have so far if i have the base of the design then i should be fine with the rest im just confused on the base of the design

The do the rest of the part first.

You will not need any Splines to create the part.

Can you ask your instructor to join this discussion.

 

Forget the geometry to left side of image - and model this simple geometry first.

The dimensions are hard to read in your original image and it appears that these Radii dimensions are missing.

I assumed that the inside bend radius was 20mm.
