Hi! This could be system related. Could you share your machine spec (CPU, RAM, and graphics card). Please make sure you do the followings.

1) All critical Windows updates are installed.

2) The latest graphics card driver is installed and your machine is using the dedicated graphics card to run Inventor.

3) Start File Explorer and go to %temp%. Delete as many files as you can.

Many thanks!

Hi Johnsonshiue,

My system is Windows 10 Pro

Intel(r) Xeon(r) CPU E3-1505M v6 @ 3.00GHz

32GB Ram

Nvidia Quadro P4000 with 389.08 driver

I have cleared out my Temp folder and tried the reset utility with no change.. I just did a reinstall through control panel. I'll put it through its paces and update tomorrow

I uninstalled and reinstalled inventor this morning. this did not provide a resolution. I began to Unload Add-ins. The first Add-in that i unloaded was the nesting utility. The issue went away loading the Nesting utility cause =s the lock-up/Freeze issue to return
