Inventor Drawing is scaled wrong when opened in AutoCAD

I'm working with Inventor 2011. 

I create a drawing, in Inventor, that needs to be opened in AutoCAD and saved back to R14.

When I open in AutoCAD, it opens at a much larger scale (2.0626x).

I have to do "EXPORTLAYOUT" to get it to Model Space and then scale it back .484819508266 to get it to be proper.

Is there a way to get Inventor to export to AutoCAD and have AutoCAD open up to the correct "FULL" scale?

It's been a long time since I've worked with 2011, but.... depending on which export option you use to save to dwg, you should be able to specify that you want model space 1:1.

Use Save As, Save Copy As, AutoCAD dwg, then hit the Options button at the bottom.  First screen lets you choose the AutoCAD version to save to along with a few other options.  Next screen allows you to decide which sheets to export, or all of them, along with several scaling options.  I think the one you want is Full Scale (1:1) Model Space... but you have other options there.  When you have everything, hit finish and specify a fie name and location and you're good to go.  But, again,... I can't remember if this is the same in 2011.

yeah, that seems to work, but only displays the geometry of the part... None of the dimensions are displayed (unless they are hidden or something?)

There is a check box on that second screen that states Model Geometry Only.  Uncheck that and you should get everything.
