Inventor Drawing File not Matching the Vault Version

I'm having an issue where a colleague and I are working on the same drawing file (one at a time). He made some changes to the file and checked it back into our Vault. I then did a new "get" of the file so that I would have that most current copy on my local drive. However, when I then open the file, it clearly does not match what I see in the Vault preview of the file.

We both are using the exact same versions of Inventor and Vault and have the same settings for both softwares.

I even deleted my old versions of the file completely from my local drive before re-getting the file and still have the same issue. The one thing I noticed what that he saved his file in Vault at 7:23pm but the time stamp when I get that file says 6:37pm. We have a 3hr time difference between us but I wouldn't think that should be an issue.

Has anyone run into this situation where the file they get from Vault is somehow different than what opens in your Inventor?

The attachment shows an example of one small section that doesn't match up. Apologies for the small Vault pic. The preview wouldn't let me make it bigger. But you should be able to see how the Vault version has content in the very lower left corner and yet when opened in Inventor, it's off the page.

Thank you,

Karen C.

Delete drawing, part and assembly of the project on your computer.

Close IV.

Start IV and try again.

Make sure you are getting latest version of all files.

Hi! Yes, Frederick is right. It is possible the models the two drawings reference are different. The drawing is like viewing the model in a 2D space. If the models are different, the drawings will be different. Please make sure your files (idw, ipt, and iam) are same version as your co-worker's.

Many thanks!
