Inventor Drawing Change Base View Orientation

How do I change view of my base before I place so that I can dimension a feature on the other side?

Hi

I tried to find the an informative Help page, but you need to be a Inventor master to understand the help file, so I did not bother.

When you place the view, the view cube is available to change the default orientation of the view.

There is also a Right click option, to change the view to more customised orientation.

You can also edit the view and change the default orientation using the view cube.

Be aware that any dependent views will also update and reflect the change. (You may loose dimensions etc)

There are many ways to show the information, I am just helping you immediate question.
