Hello guys,
i need some help, I have a .shx font I would like to use in inventor. I understand that its not possible to directly input the font to an inventor textbox, but if I use the 'convert to geometry' function within inventor I can only convert to shx fonts. Is there a way to add my custom shx font to the list of available fonts to use in the 'convert to geometry' function?
Thanks in advance

H! I am sorry I am not aware of a way to do that. It seems to be hard-coded.
Many thanks!
Hi!
Okay thanks. Was this a possibility in earlier versions of inventor? I saw someone give a solution to this for the 2019 version, but the filepaths changed since the 2022 version (I think?). So i was wondering if this could still be the case.
Thanks
Hi! It seems that the fonts have been moved to the following location.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\RealDWG Shared 2025\Fonts
Many thanks!
Hi! I am very sorry for my earlier ill-informed reply.
Many thanks!
