Inventor consistently running out of memory

I've got an assy with 556 parts 1809 instances and a set of T&P runs (no I can't post it, would violate the company rules).  Far as I can tell that's not that big.  But every constraint or addition take forever and I keep getting the error that I'm running out of memory.  I've no idea why or what's going on.  Any ideas what could be things that run up the memory?

So each thing I do (add a constraint, click a line, etc.) the bottom right has a green bar that keeps repeating, like it were loading something over and over.  Don't know what that's indicating.

Hi! Your hardware is fine. This is software related. Make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and graphics driver is updated. A few things to check.

1) Press Ctrl+F7. Is there any bad body reported? If yes, repair it or suppress it. Does it work better?

2) The number of parts looks small, but are these actual parts? Or, they are ipt files representing assembly geometry?

3) Are you running any non-Autodesk Add-In? Try unloading all Add-In and edit an assembly constraint. How long does it take to finish compute?

4) Is the red cross at the top lit up? Please fix the pre-existing errors. Any additional error can cause assembly to compute slowly, since Inventor will attempt to resolve the inconsistent constraints. If you don't want to fix the errors, suppress or delete them.

Many thanks!

Found the issue.  I created an assembly cut that went through the entire 1600 instance model.  Even though I reversed the direction all those parts were still participating in the extrusion.  Once I deleted the extrusion it works fine.

I have such an issue too. I had 8 assemblies open and the RAM/Memory usage peaked at 37 365MB. I currentley have only one assembly open but the task manager is still reporting the same ammount of ram being occupied.

The image 1 was taken when the last file was bussy closing, image 2 was take about a minutes there after, and remains on it until Inventor was closed. Image 3 was restarting Inventor and it's only on 384MB. So it seems it is not releasing ram while in opperation

Hi! Unless you have 1 million or more parts, I don't understand why Inventor will use up that much memory. Please make sure 2022.5 and 2022.5.1 updates are installed. Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated.

How large is the dataset (the size of all Inventor files combined)?

Many thanks!
