I cannot use Inventor 2016 R3 Connected Design.

I can see the preview before publishing, but shared data is not viewing on A360.

I was having this same problem the other day and I wasn't sure if the A360 was even working..  I haven't tried it lately.

Same issue here. Design Share published from Inventor 2016 R3 Connected Design is not viewable on A360 Android app. It says on the app "We're preparing your file for viewing. Would you like to know when it is ready?" and then it apparently never becomes "ready"

@Anonymous are you using the Autodesk A360 App for Android, or are you visiting A360 from an Android web browser? I ask because the viewer that is built into the A360 App is not yet updated to handle the new Design Share files. Have you tried to access the Design Share files by signing in to 360.autodesk.com via your Android web browser? Please let us know if you have any issues accessing the files that way.

@MHaverty I was trying through the app. If the feature doesn't exist, this seems like a major shortcoming. At a minimum, the app should indicate that the feature does not yet exist, rather than giving the user false hope that their file is being prepared for viewing and will be ready shortly. Is there any planned timeline for a release that allows for viewing these files on the Android app?

The issues folks were seeing with not being able to access their Design Shares on the A360 website should now all be addressed. From inside Inventor, if you click on the name of a Design Share, you should be taken directly to view that .collaboration file on A360 Drive (once you sign in if not aleady authenticated). You may also visit 360.autodesk.com on a browser to view and manage your Design Shares in your A360 Drive.

The A360 app has now been updated so that the app viewer will display Design Share files. The updates should appear in the Android app by the end of this week. The iOS app may take until mid-Jan in order to make its way through the app store review. I will post an updated timeframe for iOS once we have it.

Please note that while the A360 App viewers will now be able to display Design Share files, more work must be done for this viewer to display comments along side the model. We do not yet have a timeline to provide on this update, but I will let you know as soon as I am able.

Update: I've just learned the Android updates need to hold until mid-Jan as well. This means both Android and iOS A360 App updates will be available mid-January.
