Inventor assembly machining

Hi all,

I have an assembly provided to me by a client with the machining features added to the assembly, is there a way for me to get these to show on the parts to assist when creating part drawings to save me modelling these holes into the parts?

there's a Add on that can push these features down to the part level, but i can't remember it's name.

you can also create view reps to isolate each part and create drawings

Hi!

If you're using Inventor 2020 or below, you have this app:

https://apps.autodesk.com/INVNTOR/en/Detail/Index?id=4113747616755499758&appLang=en&os=Win64

For newer versions the app is not supported, but you can do it manually:

If you don't want to mess with the parts, i suggest also visibility filters to isolate the part at the assembly level, and document the part using that filter:

Hi Folks,

For newer Inventor versions (2021 and later), it still can run if the following file is modified.

1. Go C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\coolOrange_featureMigrator.bundle\Contents

2. Find "coolOrange.featureMigrator..Inventor.addin" open this file by use notepad

3.Change number to be auto desk your version <SupportedSoftwareVersionGreaterThan>21 <SupportedSoftwareVersionLessThan>100

Many thanks!
