Inventor API Material Reading Issue

Hi

Please refer the assembly “Fishing Rod Assembly.iam”.

We have a problem with reading the part colour in the context of the assembly. If we load the top-level

assembly some of the part colours are incorrect(colour of the Fishing Rod.ipt). But if we load the part individually we get the correct colour.

When posting and sharing files always indicated the Inventor version you're using or what version was used when last saved.  In your case its Inventor 2019..   So let me ask you this question since there's a lot of files and not really in a spot to extract all these files to my hard drive to review your model.  If you are having a programming issue then you need to use the Inventor customization forum https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-customization/bd-p/120 but if this is actually just an appearance issue between the appearance at the part level and assembly, then you need to tell us which one parts are impacted.

Update: Is this school related work?   Are you following something and its not working.  However I noticed the files were originally created in Inventor 2012 and thus my reason I'm asking these additional questions.

Update #2:  And what do you meaning "we are having an issue"?
