Inventor Annotation style for various precision values

My inventor drawing has varied precision values from single decimal to four decimal points with dual units.

Whats the best practice to set a default annotation style that caters to all these variations while placing the dimension , without having to manually select each dimension to change its precision value. Appreciate some guidance here.Thanks!

You can create different annotation styles (Manage tab > Styles Editor) and pick them each time you click the dimension tool:

I set up all of the styles I typically use in a template.

Then when creating drawing I change one example dimension of each style to appropriate style.

I go ahead and dimension everything with the default style.

Then I right click and copy properties (I am going from memory - I don't have Inventor running at the moment, so my terminology might be slightly different than what Inventor uses) from each of the earlier exemplars to each of the desired changes (hope that make sense).  This is the fastest way that I have found.  The danger in doing it this way rather than each dimension as I go - you could miss one, it is easy to overlook one particular "tree" in a forest of dimensions.

I have found it to be most efficient to set Edit dimension when created:

This means that the Edit Dimension dialog always pops up after placing a dimension, which sounds annoying, but if there's nothing to be changed, simply hit Enter and it's gone.  However, the key is this: on the Precision and Tolerance tab, the default text input goes to the Primary Units precision, and the dialog always opens at the last used tab.   If I'm reasonably careful to close that box from the Precision and Tolerance tab every time, it always opens with focus on the Primary Units control, and all you need to do is type the number of places you want and Enter.

So, my workflow for the above dimension is: click to place the dimension, type 4 and Enter.  Really easy!
