At my pattern the first element has a modelstate "strutmontage M10"
In my second element the represenation is set to "primary". Is this normal?

Hi Arjen,
I think this is a limitation at the moment. There isn't a workflow to configure Design View Rep per Model State. As a result, DVR and MS are like two independent representations.
However, Component Pattern can be configured in Model States table. The source component MS does drive the pattern instance MS accordingly.
