Inventor 2024 sheetmetal bug using Bend tool

i am trying to connect two "faces" using the "edge to edge" bend option to create a chamfered bent corner.
all my faces are part of the same solid, and i already used this command successfully in a identical way on an accent face , however after i select my two edges it defaults to wanting to create a 90deg corner and all other options are greyed out. i realize that this could be created using the "contour flange" tool but for sake of learning, is this some kind of software bug? or is there some odd intended software limitation I'm not aware of preventing me from doing this?

Hi! I could be wrong but I don't think such "chamfered" bend has ever been supported. To create the desirable Bend feature, you may create a workplane by selecting the two parallel edges. Create a Flange feature aligned to the workplane. Lastly, create the Bend connecting the two Flanges.

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the video! At the moment, the Bend command works by extending the faces of the selected edges. The options are enabled only when there is no intersection. The desirable solution in this case isn't available as an option on the Bend command. thanks i would have though the tool would work by extending faces to a theoretical intersection,  i did not realize this tool only works when the faces you are trying to "connect" are parallel
