Inventor 2022.2 Origin 3D Indicator turning off

Hi everyone,

I recently updated to 2022.2 and now my 3D Origin Indicator keeps turning off. I've restarted the application to see if that would help but no luck. I have not restarted my computer since noticing that the origin indicator is turned off.

One other person in our group is experiencing the same problem who is also running IV 2022.2. Anybody else experiencing the same problem? Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Inventor will not save your changes to Application Settings if you do not close it successfully, and sometimes Inventor crashes while closing but leaves a trace process in the background.
Either restart your PC or open Task Manager to see if you find any Inventor (sometimes background) processes still active. If you kill those (End task), then the next time you change the setting below and close (successfully) Inventor, your preference should be saved for good.

While I appreciate the suggestion, it didn't solve my problem.

@johnsonshuie, I see you liked this post. Was that you who accepted this as a solution? It didn't work, even tho' I followed the directions correctly. Also, why would installing a service pack turn off my 3D Origin Indicator? I didn't touch it.

Any other ideas would be appreciated, thanks

I found what the problem is and it has nothing to do with the application options. We recently added an iLogic rule to create a picture to attach to the record in our ERP system and it's the iLogic rule that is changing the 3D Indicator.

This thread can be deleted, please.
