Inventor 2021 generate .rfa failure by BIM content

Can anyone please help me for this BIM file generation?

It always shows "The operation failed to complete successfully. Detailed information on specific failures is contained within the translation report. Would you like to view the translation report now?" after saving as to export .rfa file, actually, that's nothing special in the report.

This error is likely files specific. If possible, please share the files here. I can work with the project team to understand the behavior better.

Hi both, many thanks, now i found the reason, it works after i installed software upgrade pack.

Hi all, I have the same problem, but it is with all files- parts, assemblies and simplified assemblies.

I have created a single rectangular extrusion and places several assemblies of this object as an assembly. 

The same process works in 2021.

I have clean installed and reinstalled several times as per  - https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/inventor-2022-1-1-bim-exchange-tool-not-not-working/m-...

P.S.  @Anonymous can you please outline your statement "it works after I installed software upgrade pack"

Just update the latest version, but actually i'm not familiar with that, it's handled by our IT guy. sorry and hope you'll solve that problem soon.

I'm all up to date with my software. 

Apart from the ongoing issue with the 2022.1.1 crashing Inventor!

So I have had to remove it 😞
