INVENTOR 2021 DEFAULT LINES AND TEXT SET TO PURPLE?

At some point in Inventor 2021, my default text and lines switched to purple while in a drawing. It was originally black, now when making a sketch on a view in a drawing everything seems to default to purple and i'm not sure how to change it back. Is this in the color scheme editor in the options?

Hi! In the drawing, the colors should be dictated by Layers (just like AutoCAD) except background in Tools -> Doc Settings. Are you using a new template file? Please share the template file here so forum experts can take a look.

Another thing to try is to use "Inventor Reset Utility" (All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor 2021 -> Tools).

i have reset like you suggested and opened up a default template without migrating my 2020 settings and still is purple. when i select it and go to the layers pull down it has "by standard (layer name) " with no color next to it. when i scroll down to that layer and select it, it will turn to the color of the layer..

None of my layers are purple. also my text was also purple but not after resetting. I also noticed the tracking dots and text box are purple.

while doing this i found that the color schemes affect the text and lines for some reason. once i switched the scheme the color changed.

What that image shows is green and purple lines inside a sketch that is being editing on a drawing sheet. In that instance, they should be in color like that. When you save/exit the sketch, then they should appear black on the sheet.

If you exit the sketch and the line are still in color, then it's likely a styles issue.
