Inventor 2020 stripes/ blurred - graphic issue in Citrix desktop

Hi,

one user has an issue with inventor graphic. Its looks like stripes on the screen (please take a look on attached picture).

On our tests:

other Client-PC, other Displays 27", other Citrix Maschine and same User = ok

other Client-PC, other Displays 27", same Citrix Maschine and same User = stripes on screen

same Client-PC, same Displays 27", other Citrix Maschine and same User = stripes on screen

other Client-PC, other Displays 27", same Citrix Maschine and other User = ok

This issue seems to be nonlinear. Does anyone have experience with the problem? Thanks

I do not see stripes in your picture attached, aside from the Sketch center lines. Those can be turned off here:

I would give it a try to have the following setting ON:
Tools > Application Options > Hardware > Software Graphics

Aside from that, from your tests the user is probably OK given the result below:

other Client-PC, other Displays 27", other Citrix Machine and same User = ok

And you have not tested same displays with other PC/Citrix/User, but I would guess this issue is not tied to a monitor/display.

thanks for your reply. Sorry, yes you are right. I updated the attached picture.

The Option 'Software Graphics' is unfortunately not the solution.

Yes, we have not tested all variants, because the error seems to be an intermittent-error.

Ok, I guessed this would be more of a Citrix problem than Inventor, and it payed off... I think I found your solution here:

Please let us know if you test and this works. I am attaching the page linked above as a PDF in case their support page goes offline in the future.

This makes sense, as I remember that not only Inventor but other applications come out strange because of the graphic compression Citrix uses. I used to work in a school where other applications would look quite different through Citrix (usually ok for accounting/finance users, but us CAD designers get more bugged with that).

@Gabriel_Watson  Thanks for that great tip, but unfortunately  this wasn't the solution.

I agree to you that it looks like an citrix issue. In the past we never had this issue with our fatclients (no citrix environment).

Okay, if I figure it out, I will post solution here.
