I updated Inventor 2019 to 2020 successfully, opened 2020 and used it without issue for roughly a day. Upon starting the program the next day, the program will not load past the startup screen. Any ideas?

Hi! Please check your Autodesk account or Autodesk Desktop App, there should be a licensing update just published recently. Please install it and see if it works better.
Many thanks!
Thanks for your help but the issue was addressed based on the suggestion below. BTW, the service you asked about was running while the issue was occurring.
Hi! Did you install the licensing patch from Autodesk Desktop App or Autodesk account?
Many thanks!
Hi Anthony,
Is it still not working after you install the licensing update?
Many thanks!
We have the same issue and installing the update, then rebooting didn't fix it. Service does not seem to be running and we are unable to start it. Are there any other suggestions? This machine also has 2016 installed.
If you check the Windows Services are the following services Running or Stopped?
Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service
FlexNet Licensing Serivce
If they aren't running any errors or warning regarding them in the Windows Event viewer under Application logs?
Thanks,
Danny
Flexnet is "started". Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service is blank but says automatic startup. The log says "
The Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
This does not seem to be on every machine with 2020, only 1 so far.
On the problem machine can you gather and attach the logs from the following folders:
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService\Log
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Inventor 2020\Logs
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Logs
Thanks,
Danny
Can you verify the build numbers of the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributale's for 2015 and 2017 you have installed, might also try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
Also double check the folder permission at C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService for the Local Service account.
After this if you reboot does the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service run?
Thanks,
Danny
Some other things to try:
Could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop licensing service:
Thanks,

Your 1st listed suggestion here worked.
My IV 2020 nor IV 2019 would not open this morning. They gave server errors. I tried some of the things listed here but nogo. So, I uninstalled IV 2019 and IV 2020 and tried to reinstall. Now the installer fails and give an 'Error 1603' The search for a solution led nowhere. I downloaded AIDA and it found no errors.
Can you upload the Inventor 2020 Setup and Install log files from your TEMP folder, should give us more details about the problem.
Thanks,
Danny
