I have had inventor for a couple months now and it has been working perfectly fine and I have multiple saved projects, however today when i tried to open one the loading screen displayed for maybe 10 seconds then closed without any error messages or warning. I am a student so have the free license which lasts for 3 years so it shouldn't be a licensing error, I have uninstalled and re-installed the program and still nothing works. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Hi,
often it didn't help to uninstall and reinstall the Inventor because the problem is not in the program folders.
If your Inventor is still installed please try to reset you Inventor like you can read at the following site
If you can please start your computer with an administrator account and try to start Inventor. If it start without a problem then perhaps your user profile has a problem.
Hope my english is not so worry. I don't often write in english but try to improve it every time
Hi! Students are entitled to education license but it does not mean there would not be an issue in terms of how the licensing was done or the license was managed. Two possibilities: outdated graphics driver or licensing issue. Please make sure your graphics driver is up-to-date. Then log on to your Autodesk account and check your entitlement.
Many thanks!
Not sure if shut down the windows system and reboot would work for you or not or try to run Inventor as administator in the context menu.
Hope it helps!
Hi guys, I'm afraid none of these have worked. My laptop meets all the requirements and my license is still fine as far as I can see. I tried clearing it completely off my laptop and starting again from scratch however now its saying half the software is already installed when it quite clearly is not. Any ideas?
Perheps you can use Microsoft fix it to find and solve inszallation problems.
I think there are rest of installations on you user profile or in the regestry
