Inventor 2019 - Importing/Opening STP Files always open as Transparent

All,

Is there a solution to this that doesn't involve me doing this to every single stp file i import?

2018 never had this problem!

What changed? I do not have this luxury to go to each part and copy to construction each time to just get my solid body working. Why is Inventor behaving like this all of a sudden?

Is there any Ilogic code i can use to go through entire assembly and go into each part, copy to construction, create part?

Here's another topic.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/exporting-to-step-yields-transparent-models/m-p/843728...

Search in STEP file for a line containing SURFACE_STYLE_TRANSPARENT(1.) and change it to SURFACE_STYLE_TRANSPARENT(0.)

Can you upload a sample?

After a closer look, I noticed that you did some work in Construction Environment.

Initianal stitching is needed there, after that copy object as solid will succeed normally.

Hi! The issue has been fixed as of 2019.4 update. If you have STP files already carrying TRANSPARENT ("1") properties, you will need to manually edit the STP files and change it to TRANSPARENT ("0"). On 2019.4, non-transparent faces should remain non-transparent (and transparent faces remains transparent faces) in STEP export. If you have examples showing otherwise, please let us know asap.

Please make sure 2019.4 update is installed.

Many thanks!
