Inventor 2018 Presentation Exploded Views

Made the switch from Inventor 2016 to 2018 as required to by Autodesk to maintain support this week. The presentation file changes are terrible and if we could we would downgrade to 2016 as 2018 is that bad with no value added improvement over 2016.

My question is the best way to create an exploded view in the presentation file as I did not find options to do a manual explosion?

Unfortunately, since they don't have the auto explode, it has to be done manually via tweak ...

I'll agree at first I was the same way .. I don't like this without the Explode ... this is horrible.

However, now I like it. It just took me some time to get used to the changes and why the changes were made. 

Give it a little bit of time .. you might see some of the benefits of the changes. Just my opinion.

I always keep an open mind and make sure we are using features correctly but it seems like this change causes more steps to create a simple exploded view than 2016 as we already had issues with legacy data with the change.

So If I am understanding you correctly, I have to manually move every single part in the assembly using the tweak function?

You can grab multiple .. you can grab from the browser ....

It seems the public has spoken, and hates the change of detracting the presentation files' most used tool.

In this video is a rough alternative of getting an exploded view through A360 sharing, still not close to ideal:

Although, I understand why Autodesk might have removed the explode tool, if the intent is to obsolete and discontinue presentation files (IPNs) in favor of 3D PDFs and A360.
