Inventor 2018 Material Assignment

Hello,

I am a new user to Inventor and am trying to create a parking garage.  I have the entire model built and would like to add materials to certain aspects of the garage such as concrete to the ramp, or steel to the exterior of the building.  However, when I go to apply a material the entire model becomes that material.  Any ideas on how to assign materials to specific parts?  

If this isn't possible, would I be able to import the ipt file into a different software to assign materials such as Unity?

Hi! If I understood you issue correctly, you can use Make Components command to push individual bodies as parts. Then assign material style to each part.
