Inventor 2018 Create Thread But Nothing Happens Window Appears Offscreen

I' ve got problem with thread option in Inventor 2018 (student version). When I have finished cylinder, then I press thread icon and nothing happens. No window is being open also I am not able to choose cylindrical surface. I have also Inventor 2015 and there isn't any problem with its. Please help me with  this problem.

Sounds like the dialog is off the screen..

Try these steps when this happens..

ALT+SPACEBAR

M key

LEFT or RIGHT arrow key

Move mouse, does thread dialog now appear where your cursor is?

Hi! Another possibility is that the thread tables cannot be found by Inventor. Go to Get Started -> Project -> Folder Options -> Design Data -> look at the path. Then launch File Explorer -> go to the path -> XLS -> do you see two .xls files?

You state that it works fine with 2015, but just to be sure - do you have Microsoft Excel installed on this machine?

Also, as a student - you can download the Updates for 2018 http://manage.autodesk.com

I would go ahead and install those as well.

Were you able to get the thread window to show up? Do you use two monitors and at some point disconnected to just one?

If you go to the Task Manager and select Bring To Front does the window appear?
