=0.078125*(2*56-30-15+SQRT((2*56-30-15)^2-0.81*(30-15)^2))

Copy and paste this into Excel and you get 10.36139323

0.078125ul*(2ul*56ul-30ul-15ul+sqrt((2ul*56ul-30ul-15ul)^2ul-(0.81ul*(30ul-15 ul))^2ul))

Copy and paste this into Inventor and you get 10.381963

Can anyone tell me if the formatting in Inventor is off or is this a bug in one of the programs.

0.078125*(2*56-30-15+SQRT((2*56-30-15)^2-0.81*(30-15)^2))
0.078125*(2*56-30-15+SQRT((2*56-30-15)^2-(0.81*(30-15))^2))

I think the different parenthesis at the end may be forcing a different order of evaluation, specifically where raising by power of 2 is applied to 0.81*(30-15).

If you delete those extra parenthesis Inventor just adds them back.
