Inventor 2016 - Library File Glitch

We just upgraded to Inventor 2016 recently and I have started to notice an issue that may be due to a glitch or simply an incorrect setting. What happens is I opened an assembly that comprised of files in our Vault (some of which were library files). I checked out the main assembly file and made some changes to this by removing some parts and adding others. When I went to check it in it gave me an error saying it was not possible. I switched the browser tree over to 'Vault' and saw that a few of the library files were red and had an asterix next to them. I tried to save the assembly multiple times but eventually the only way I was able to get the assembly to be able to get checked back in was to select all of the library files and check them out and then check them back in. After that I was ale to check in the assembly. It seems as if Inventor thought I made changes to those files which is bizzarre because it was my understanding that the whole point of Library files was to make them read only.... Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

It might be that the library files are being migrated when loaded into memory to the latest version of Inventor. I have run into this from time to time, especially if the library file is an assembly file. When all my users are upgraded, I usually run a migration of all our library files using the Inventor task scheduler.

Now is that different from the migration I ran in the ADMS when I did the Update to 2016 from Vault 2014? I remember when I finished the install it then ran a migrate of the Vault.

Bringing this back up as i currently experience the same problem. Except i cant check in/out the library files with my normal user account as those are read only.

Did you solve this ChristanAlanJamesBerg?
