My .idw is not showing my assembies views on the paper but does show them in my browser? They were there and now gone?

Can you share an example ....?

Also could there be smething in space that makes the view really small?   Maybe try changing the View Ratio to see if shows up...

Hi

Try and make a new drawing.

I get this occasionally, a restart normally works.

Are your display drivers up to date.

Clear your temp folder - Often . Lately Inventor seems buggy if your temp folder is not cleared.

Check the health of the assembly, this has also caught me out. (Rebuild all)

If any, check the health of iparts and iassemblies

I have done the rebuild, and the views was there all week long. The only thing i can try is clearing the temp files. The files show up in the browser but not on the paper. Its there but i cannot see it.

I have attached a clip of the browser and where the views were.

Hi

Are you able to expand the browser tree?, as normally the views bounding box is quite faint, so your view might be somewhere else.

Also if there is something wrong is becomes a really small bounding box.

WOW how many sheets do you have in one drawing? This might be the cause of your issue?

In my opinion, VERY BAD.. (Again, just my opinion)

- Large drawing files

- If something goes wrong, you loose all your work, and not just 1 drawing.

I prefer one sheet drawing files, I create empty sheets for sheet numbering.

It also makes drawing exporting easier

What happens if you print that sheet?  Are the missing views printed?  How about exporting to PDF?
