Inventor 2010 EDM add-in is missing

I am trying to connect to Vault server 2012 with Inventor 2010 SP4 and the patch to allow connection to Vautl 2012.

On one machine it works, on another machine the Vault Login/Logout menus are missing.  I selected to show hidden add-ins, but the EDM add-in is not there.

I tried the following as per another discussion topic using both 2010 and 2012 syntaxes:

If it is missing, you should be able to bring it back by running the following:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2012\bin\Connectivity.InventorAddin.EdmAddinRegistration.exe" /uninstall
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2012\bin\Connectivity.InventorAddin.EdmAddinRegistration.exe" /install

That did not help.  The EDM Add-in is still missing.

Inventor 2012 has the add-in, Inventor 2010 does not.

Any ideas?

I also tried the fix listed in http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13404176&linkID=9242018.  That did not work either.  The EDM addin does not appear in the list even when hidden items are shown.

A complete uninstall and later new install fixed the issue.

It would have been nice to skip this step, but in the end it worked.
