Inventor: Invalid axis/origin on a sketch

I have an error message about an invalid axis/origin in a part sketch. I understand that I need to select the X or Y axis & then pick a vertex to indicate the direction but how do I do this in a circular part with no appropriate vertexes to select?

I think the forum needs a bit more information from you to help with this issue.  Could you post your part and at lease give a screen capture.

From a top of my head - I think you can redefine the axis by picking Part's Origin axis. Give it a try anyway.

Cheers,

Igor.
