Interface size

Hi,

I have very recently moved to a new computer.

Now elements of UI (fonts, buttons, checkboxes...) are to small to use them efficiently.

Is there a way to adjust that (other than decrease screen resolution)?

I have found that if you right-click on the desktop icon > properties > Compatibility tab > Change high DPI settings > Check the top box > Drop Down > When I open this program > Check box High DPI Scaling Override > Drop Down > System. Then start INV. But I have noticed that windows 11 may have fixed some of this?? Not certain, but I didnt have to have any of that set when I upgraded.

Hope that helps

Hi Cris,

Not only the resolution but also the scaling matters too. Go to "Change Display Resolution" in Windows and change the scale.

Many thanks!

Hi Johnson,

I managed to increase some of the elements this way.

But still some are way to small.

Just look on the images:

1) folder navigation icons in File selection window. Thy are ridiculously small.

2) sketch point selection (hardly possible to select. Mouse cursor was not captured, but the green dot is like two pixels across)

3) work feature names

@Cris-Ideas

Hi, have you tried the suggestion made by @blandb ?  From your images that looks like a High DPI scaling issue.  This is very common when switching machines that may have different graphics adapters.

@blandb

Thanks it worked. I can finally select things. Image lost some of its sharpness, but functionality improved significantly.

What I did not understand at first is what icon should I right  click.

For anyone who may also be confused.: So it is right click on the Autodesk Inventor icon on the desktop.

Chris.
