installing Inventor on VMware Fusion?

does anybody have experience installing Inventor on VMware Fusion (running Win10)?  I get an error during installation that a certain VMware folder is not accessible, but it's a folder that should not be relevant to the installation (user/photos)?

Thanks for the help, Yoshi

Welcome to the community..

It sounds like the default location for the user's profile is not in the standard location (C:\users\<username>) or that it finds this information is different places.

Possibly a bad User Profile within the Win10 environment. Make sure that you are logged in on the Win10 account with Administrative Privileges. I would turn off the UAC as well within Win10.

Thanks!  I'm left the default location (see screen shot), but for some reason it's trying to access what seems to be a random folder (see other screen shot)

on the installation help section it includes the system requirements for Boot Camp, but does not mention WMware Fusion.

Thanks!  I'm logged in as admin and have my UAC turned off.

It looks like it's trying to install to a network path for the folder. I had no problems installing on my MacBook Pro on Parallels 11 with Win10. Since VM Ware isn't on the list of approved "systems", I might bet that's your issue.
