Inspect Dimension Not Working In Assembly

So this is the first time I have had this problem out of hundreds of assemblies.

When I chose inspect dimension usually I can choose any feature I want to measure but for some reason it will only select whole parts and it gives me random dimensions with no line showing what its measuring.

I can still measure things in any other part or assembly just fine and there is absolutely nothing out of the ordinary in this assembly.

I even deleted the whole file and started over but still cant choose faces, edges holes, nothing. only whole parts.

Very confused please help.

@vatorhoist

Change the "priority" at the top of the measure tool..

@vatorhoist were you able to figure out what was affecting your measure tool?

The only thing I can think of was the priority like @mcgyvr mentioned.

Can you supply a screenshot or screencast as to what you are seeing?
