Importing Revit 2020 rvt files

Hello.

I am having difficulty importing a Revit 2020 project file into Inventor 2021. Inventor displays this warning:

Choosing "Open Anyway" launches the Import dialog, where I choose an import option. Inventor runs for a few seconds and crashes. I have chosen each of the 4 options, and the result is the same.

I then attempted to open the same file using Inventor 2020 and the import was successful, however, the Import dialog does not present, and Inventor jumps directly to the Revit project view list. For this particular project, I need to be able to select Reference Model, but I no longer have that option.

I have all of the latest updates and interoperability modules installed. Revit is not installed.

So, why is Inventor 2021 crashing on import, and why does the Import dialog not display in Inventor 2020?
