Importing multiple linked Revit models into Inventor

Greetings. I am working on a project with a central Revit model with multiple linked 'sub-Revit-models' for the various disciplines (i.e. structural, mechanical, architectural, etc.). I want to import the various Revit models into inventor as 'referenced models' so  that they can be updated to capture the latest design changes from the various disciplines.

I have cleaned up the Revit models so they are ready for Inventor. I can import the multiple .rvt models into Inventor as 'referenced models' but cannot find a way to automatically 'place' the Revit models in their correct positions with the same coorindates as they have in the central Revit model (i.e. the structural columns are floating in the wrong place).

Is there a way that Inventor can import and link various collaborative Revit models correctly so that they can be automatically placed into their correct coorindate positions in the Inventor Assembly? I do not want to bind the models in Revit as binding does not allow for updating of the individual referenced Revit models to work anymore?

It seems that the importing of multiple linked Revit models into an Inventor assembly is critical to Inventor being able to work with Revit correctly. Is there a workflow I am missing, or is this not possible yet? The only options seems to be that the placement of the multiple Revit models has to be done manually in the Inventor assembly, but this is not optimal and opens up the possibility of human error? If not possible then I will export an .SAT or .DWG from Revit as per the old method.

Some guidance will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

SOLVED - the linked models simple need to be saved as a new Model from REVIT and then imported in INVENTOR.
