Importing JT issue, please help.

I import the JT and it creates assemblies but nothing shows up.

Welcome!  What version of Inventor are you using for this? (always a good idea to share this in a post)

Use Navisworks to open and verify the JT file if you can. See if you have any other readers to open this and test that it is not empty. 

 

Did you select all object filters to import? Most likely the data would come in as a mesh.

Thank you, it was meshes I knew it had to be simple.  I appreciate your help.

I have all selected and still am seeing nothing. This is all *.jt files I'm trying to open.

Hi Joshua,

 

A quick test to try. Upload the jt file to viewer.autodesk.com. Does it work? If it does, it will be an Inventor bug. If the viewer cannot display anything in  the jt file, it is likely a limitation in our JT translator or there is a problem with the JT file itself. Also try using JT2GO to see if the file can be viewed properly.
