Importing 3D AutoCAD to Inventor - FAIL

The AutoCAD import feature in I2017 is not working at all. This is independent of file size. After initializing the import wizard and selecting a small file (see attachment), I tried using a flawless configuration for I2016 - the program froze (I double checked in the processes - nothing). So I selected the "Configuration Not Saved" option. It too froze.

This is a known issue with Inventor 2017.
