How are you doing this?

Just copy and paste the geometry into the inventor title block editor.

You might need to explode your blocks first and redo the text.

I see, do u have idea on how to solve the problem for my assembly model as shown? Please note that I can create base layout for inventor part .ipt but not assembly .asm.. is this problem related to xref?

Maybe, inventor won't be able to read autocad xrefs I shouldn't think.

I can't really troubleshoot this without the actual files you are using.

I would suggest import individual blocks only and likely the prompted text if used would cause an issue. I believe you will have lots of trouble working with the blocks in inventor. You need to go back to AutoCAD to modify any  of the blocks and they really will not work with the dynamic sheet sizes. Maybe there is work around but I wasn’t able to solve it so I ended up ditching all AutoCAD blocks where possible. I would suggest build them from scratch in inventor this way they are tied to the border size per sheet and you can easily modify them in the native inventor template. Text is also an issue if your using times new Roman in AutoCAD this really won’t work with Inventor so you will need to change this text style also to something like Tacoma.

You can also export the inventor model to AutoCAD as a stop gap measure if you don’t have time to mess with the templates.

Hi! The warnings do not make sense to me. It sounds like a corruption to me. Maybe there was corrupted objects in the dwg file.

Please share the example here. I would like to take a closer look.

Many thanks!
