Import .wire from Alias into Inventor and making Interference feature work wtc

I have being importing some parts done in Alias Design into Inventior to develop all required hardware and mechanical detailing etc.

All surfaces were stiched wit minimun tolerances .001, so its a tight stiched model.

However when I bring the parts in to assembly, the Analyze Interference comand will not work at all. 

As well when trying to incorpotrate features such as lips for plastis assembly the same thing happens.

Help will be appreciated.

When you Stitch - do you get a Solid Bodies (1) node at the top of the browser or

does it say Surface Bodies (1)?
