Import Parts list from exel in Assembly

Hello,
I am looking for a way to import a parts list from Excel into an assembly.
There is an import function, but it only works with XML.
Here I have the problem that I can't get the Excel into the right XML format. Does anyone have an idea?

Hi Max,

The "Import" button and the "Export" button in the Assembly BOM table is about formatting, not about the context. There is a dedicated "Export Bill of Materials" button on the top left of the BOM dialog. That is the one to export the BOM content to an Excel spreadsheet or csv file.

What you are looking for is available in the Drawing environment. The command is called General Table, which can link to a spreadsheet.
