.igs file to .dstv(nc1) file

Hi,

I work in Inventor, so I have one this particular problem. I don't know how to turn .igs file into dstv or nc1. So if there arre some guys who know this I would really appreciate it.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Don't assume we know what you are even talking about regarding these .dstv files. Please provide enough information so we can provide a solution or answer to you. Anyhow per my review of this file type, I can tell you that Inventor out of the box doesn't provide this capability. It appears that you will need to find other 3rd party application (https://strucsoftsolutions.com/cms/) that can support this.

Hello tomislavvrbicic,

Inventor cannot export dstv and nc1 unfortunately.
I am not familiar with Advance Steel but it seems to be able to import igs and export dstv format.

Hi! Indeed, Inventor Professional itself does not have the ability to export to .dstv or .nc1 file format out of box. You might want to google it and see if you can find good solutions.
