I need to get same settings for multiple renders.

I'm a beginner in both Inventor and rendering. I'm working with V-slot extrusions that I'd like to render, aiming for consistency across each render. While I've discovered some export and import options for certain settings, I find myself repeatedly adjusting numerous options manually to achieve a consistent rendered image.

I'm wondering if there's a more straightforward method to ensure uniformity across multiple renders, including aspects like background, metal color, lighting, and more.

Thanks!

Are you rendering different parts? Or the same part, just different angles?

Create a new assembly and place the first of your components for rendering.  Compose the scene and make all the setting changes you need.  (Think of it as creating a 'photo booth' - you create the environment, lights, camera, for a photoshoot - then bring in the models one at a time for their photo.)

You can either "Replace" your component to be rendered for each shot - or place them all in the 'photo booth' assembly and make only one visible for each render.

It's similar but different parts.

Thank you that's a good suggestion. Any idea on how I could replace the other parts to the relative coordinate of the first part or the same place.

If you use the "Replace" command (Right-click on the existing component > "Replace") - then the origin of the incoming component will match the origin of the component it replaces.  I know you mentioned you're a beginner with Inventor, but if someone taught you to constrain your parts about the origin, that advice is about to pay off! 😉

The easier method might be to place all the components into one assembly and constrain them all to the origin (or each other).  It's hard to advise the best method without knowing how similar all the components are - you mentioned they're all V-slot extrusions, but they may vary wildly in size.

When you use "Place Component" to put all the parts into the rendering assembly, you can multi-select many components.  When they all appear stuck to your mouse ready for placement, right click and use "Grounded at Origin" - that should get them all in the right spot.)

Pleasure!  I hope you get the renders you need, and good luck with your future Inventor work 👍

(Maybe post some of your work in the Community Pictures thread when @-niels- creates a new thread for January 😉)
