Any idea why I cannot suppress the parts of a pattern elements?  Any idea why you cannot just suppress the entire pattern?  I have spent 10 minutes looking at this menu and cannot find suppress.  Am I losing it?

What do you see, when right-clicking at Element:4 ?

It has something to do with imported parts as references.  It is hard to tell, but the icon for two of the three parts is showing that they are imported.

When I replaced the imported parts with converted instead of referenced files, the behavior works as advertised.  I could suppress the longshaft.ipt, but not the other two.

Interesting but frustrating.  -  Idea time!

Thanks.

Hi! Indeed, Suppress is not available for AnyCAD component in a pattern. Also it cannot be suppressed in LOD. This is a limitation right now. I have seen the idea you posted it on Inventor Ideas. I hope there will be a lot of vote soon.

Many thanks!

Hi johnsonshiue,

Is this documented anywhere? Such as in the help files? I looked previously and could not find it, but maybe I just overlooked it?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Thanks for the update.  It was actually a Solidworks part that would not suppress.

Thanks.
