I was designing an object and wanted to fill an area under a curved slope at the bottom of my object. So I searched up ways to fill areas completely without leaving an empty pocket in it. The easiest way I found was putting up patches and then using the sculpting tool and following the video step by step (link at the bottom). Every time I tried to do so it came up with an error or nothing at all. I attached the file of my design as well with the patches I currently have.
Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong, thank you in advance.

Is there a reason you cannot just extrude "to next" and fill in the void?
Hope this helps!
The reason I can't do that is because it would leave an empty space inside the object that I don't need. Id like to 3d print this and leaving pockets of air like that would slow the print time, make the object heavier, and waste filament.
Thanks for trying to help though!
I have sent the model in 2019, but I have also shown screen shots of just the area I feel you wanted filled.
