I am having issues with lines in Inventor 2016. Help?

Hey everyone, I am trying to design a meyer copy

alto saxophone mouthpiece. When I try to make the shapes to define it more, the lines are 2 dimensional. How can I resolve this? I want the mouthpiiece to look like this:

but the blank and the lines in Autodesk Inventor looks like this:

and the measurements to make it are here:

Welcome to the Forum.

Your sketch doesn't really match up to the pictures. It looks like a simpe Revolution should give you the main body with a simple cut for the flat where the Reed goes and another cut for the upp lip surface. Then create sweep profile for the center as I looks like the center opening isn't straight.

I would have to go down to my basement and dig out my old saxaphone to check if the center is straight or curved.

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Thanks!! How do you do the cut/revolution for the flat part and the upper lip part?

This should help, I didn't use any dimensions just to speed through the process. It may take a bit for the video to upload.
