How to use the rib tool in Inventor for Concentric Cylinders

Hello,

I am trying to use the rib tool to create ribs for a wheel that has ribs between a the inner cylinder and outer cylinder as shown in the picture. I used the emboss tool to get something close to the desired outcome but I am curious how to use the rib tool. I created a rectangle on a sketch that connects the outer diameter of the inner cylinder to the inner diameter of the outer cylinder as shown in the pictures but I get an error.

Attached is a 2022 version. There are (2) methods for ribs shown.

While the Rib tool is useful in this model, it is simple enough that an ordinary extrude operation would be just as easy.

Note that your image of the Rib error is not helpful because you didn't expand it to show the more detailed explanation.  It typically requires three clicks on very small '+' symbols to find the most detail that Inventor can provide.
