How to show the links in Roller chains

I could not see the links, only a streak of blue

Is there a way to show the links as realistic?

If you know please let me know, thanks

What about placing one link and then array along path?

(In the attachment of >>this<< Posting (german) you can see an example. )

Unless there is a specific need to show every link, I would stick with the "mockup" for the chain. Your assembly will have fewer parts and Inventor will run smoother. Chain is one of those things that can be un-necessarily taxing on the system.

@Anonymous,

I agree with @Anonymous, trying to model roller chain can be cumbersome and cause a lot of strain on large assemblies. However, if you really want to model chain components for your assembly, I can help you. I used to be a Product Engineer for a chain company, so I could give you some advice or create some models to help you out.

Best Regards!

I want to model the product, since I will split it into separate clusters, so the model number will be less when modeling the whole device.
In case of general simulation of the device I will use the default model, I think that will not put a lot of pressure on the system.

So please let me know your solution
