I want to add my company logo as a vector line drawing (not an image) into the title block of my DWG template.
I have imported the logo from AutoCAD as a block but cannot seem to be able to paste this block into the title block.
STEPS
In a DWG file right-click Drawing Resources\AutoCAD Blocks and select Import AutoCAD Block.
Select an AutoCAD drawing, select the block to be imported from that drawing and click INSERT
Click anywhere on the worksheet to place the block; right-click and select DONE.
The browser now shows the inserted block.
BTW: The block cannot be imported directly into the title block using the above method as the AutoCAD Blocks node in the browser is greyed out while editing the title block.
Now that the block is in the browser I can place as many as I like into the drawing by right-clicking the block in the browser, selecting INSERT, then clicking at various points in the worksheet.
Again, this method cannot be used to place the block into the title block when it is open for edit because the AutoCAD Blocks node is again greyed out.
What am I doing wrong? How do I place the block into the title block?
Why is this operation different from blocks in an IPT? Some consistency would be appreciated.
This topic is almost impossible to Google because "AutoCAD block" and "Title Block" pull up articles about each individually as well as articles about blocks in IPT sketches. A dedicated article would be appreciated.

Hi @SEC_CAD.
You can insert an Autocad block into the title block the same way you do in a sketch envirenment.
- right click the title block -> edit definition.
- now you have a sketch envirenment -> insert -> ACAD

@Fouad-l This does not insert an AutoCAD block into the title block. At best it brings in the vector lines as separate entities. I could already do this. I want the logo to be inserted as a block.
@gcoombridge Thanks. I think that you must be right and that Inventor cannot do this.
