How to Enable the Adaptivity of a part/subassembly in Assembly

After the assembly being updated a couple of times, I notice the Adaptivity of one of the components is grey out when I right click it.

How to re-enable it?

Thanks.

Open the component - go to Tools > Document Settings > Modeling - and uncheck "Adaptively used in assembly".

Hi! Another possibility is that the part itself contains a non-Primary Model State. Once it becomes table driven, the adaptivity will be disabled. The same behavior can be seen on converting an adaptive part to an iPart.

Many thanks!
