How to edit Round Emboss.ide

Hi everyone,

i have a problem with punch tools. I want to use round emboss but there is only "in" dimension. I want any dimension with "mm" I try to change properties with ifeatures but i failed. If anybody share emboss tools, i wil happy.  Also i want to ask you something, how can i find tools library? is there any website or similar?

Welcome to the Community!

These punch tools and others fall under iFeatures.  You can custom create and save these for use in your designs if one does not already exist in the iFeature library.  I'm not sure if there are any sites out there where others share iFeatures they have created.

thank you for your reply but i already try ifeatures. when i change dimension, tool was broken.  can you share round emboss for 2024 version?

HI, what I was suggesting is that you may need to create a new ifeature that has the dimensions and size that you are looking for. 
Another option would be to open the feature catalog, find the Round Emboss, and modify it.



Click the above to open the catalog file listing, then open Punches folder.
Double click Round Emboss to open it in Inventor.

Use Edit Feature, and then modify the dimension as needed, if you want to use Metric, add the unit string mm after the number, as in 2 mm.  Save the feature, and then insert it as needed from the menu.
